Cristin Uricchio has been the owner and manager of Uricchio Law Firm since 2012, maintaining the dedication, work ethic, and high standards instilled by our founding partner. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Charleston County Bar Association, the American Association For Justice, and the Young Lawyers Division of the S.C. Bar. She is admitted to practice in the Circuit Courts of South Carolina, The South Carolina Court of Appeals, The South Carolina Supreme Court, and The United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.

Cristin was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, graduating from Porter-Gaud School in 1998. She attended the College of Charleston as a merit-based scholarship recipient, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and graduating cum laude in 2002. After receiving a Master’s Degree in Psychology from The Citadel, she attended the Charleston School of Law as a Merit Scholarship recipient while working as a law clerk with Uricchio Law Firm. Upon graduating and passing the bar exam, Cristin joined Uricchio Law Firm as an associate attorney. Three years later, she took over the firm from her father.

Paul “Ricky” Uricchio, III (1943-2012) practiced law in Charleston, South Carolina for over forty years. After earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 1965, Paul’s education continued at USC, where he attended law school and graduated in 1970.Paul was admitted to practice in the Circuit Courts of South Carolina, the South Carolina Court of Appeals, the South Carolina Supreme Court, the Federal District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the Federal Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He was a senior member of the Charleston County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.

Upon admission to practice, he worked with his father before forming the law firm of Uricchio and Query, focusing on all types of personal injury and workers’ compensation law. In 1993,  Uricchio And Query was split and Paul renamed his firm Uricchio Law Firm to more deeply pursue a personal interest in all types of serious injury, including auto and trucking accidents. He was especially recognized for his extensive knowledge of motorcycles, which he found particularly helpful in handling motorcycle accidents and claims.

Paul was passionate about his profession and dedicated to his clients. He always had a smile on his face and would whistle songs as he wandered our halls dropping in on everyone’s office to check up on us and talk. He was known for his generosity and colorful sense of humor. When not at work, he could usually be found riding his Harley, shooting, fishing, or entertaining his family and friends.
