Cristin Uricchio was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. After graduating from Porter-Gaud School in 1998, she attended the College of Charleston as a merit-based scholarship recipient, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and graduating cum laude in 2002.
While pursuing her Master of Arts degree in School Psychology from The Citadel Graduate School, Cristin was a member of the Golden key Honor Society and was extended an invitation to join the Psy Chi International Psychology Honor Society. After completing her thesis, Cristin presented her research entitled “The Effects of Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy on the Emotional and Behavioral Functioning of Abused and Neglected Youth” at the Annual South Carolina Psychological Assocation (SCPA) Conference in Myrtle Beach.
After graduating from the Citadel, Cristin attended the Charleston School of Law as a Merit Scholarship recipient, consistently ranking in the top of her class and earning recognition on the Dean’s List. During law school, she worked as a law clerk with Uricchio Law Firm, gaining hands-on experience with various types of personal injury and criminal defense cases and conducting in-depth research on complex insurance issues. Upon earning her J.D. and being admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2009, Cristin joined the Uricchio Law Firm as a full-time associate. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association For Justice, and the Young Lawyers Division of the S.C Bar. Cristin currently resides in Charleston with her three dogs, Aggie, Max, and Lucky.
