Katie is originally from Litchfield County, Connecticut. After graduating from Westover School, Katie attended the College of Charleston where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
She graduated from Charleston School of Law in 2009 where she was on the Dean’s list and was the recipient of the CALI award in Pleadings & Practice. During law school, Katie gained legal experience as an Ackerman Fellow with Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services, an Extern with Charleston County Probate Court and a law clerk at Melissa F. Brown, LLC.
Katie was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2009. In addition, she is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, District of South Carolina. Prior to joining Uricchio Law Firm, Katie practiced family law as an associate at Melissa F. Brown, LLC. Her current professional associations and memberships include the South Carolina Bar, Charleston County Bar and American Bar Association. Katie resides in Charleston with her bullmastiff, Parker.
