Paul “Ricky” Uricchio, III has practiced law in Charleston, South Carolina for over forty years.
After earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 1965, Paul’s education continued at USC, where he attended law school and graduated in 1970.
Paul is admitted to practice in the Circuit Courts of South Carolina, the South Carolina Court of Appeals, the South Carolina Supreme Court, the Federal District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the Federal Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He is a senior member of the Charleston County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
Upon admission to practice, he worked with his father, Paul N. Uricchio Jr., Barry Krell, and Arthur Howe, with an emphasis on the practice of criminal law. In 1986, he partnered with Grady Query to form the law firm of Uricchio and Query, focusing on all types of personal injury and workers compensation law.
In 1993, Paul established Uricchio Law Firm to more deeply pursue a personal interest in criminal defense as well as all types of serious injury, including auto and trucking accidents. He is especially recognized for his extensive knowledge of motorcycles, which he has found particularly helpful in handling motorcycle accidents and claims.
Paul lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with his wife Nancy and beloved pitbull, Chancho. When time permits, Paul can often be found riding his Harley, shooting, and on the rare occasion, fishing.
